Function of a Wire Rod Laying Head
Wire Straightening: As wire rods exit the rolling mill, they often have some curvature and irregularities. The laying head straightens and aligns the wire rods to ensure that they are uniform and free from twists or bends.
Laying the Wire: The laying head comprises a set of rollers and guide arms that precisely control the movement of the wire rods.
